As a Personal Care Aide, you'll bring kindness, patience, and consistency to every interaction. You'll provide personal care, companionship, and support to seniors — helping them live safely and comfortably, whether in our center or in their homes. Because participant needs can change throughout the day, this role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to adjust schedules as needed while continuing to provide exceptional care.

This position is ideal for someone who is caring, dependable, and enjoys meaningful, hands-on work. You'll be part of a supportive care team in a calm, people-centered environment where collaboration, compassion, and growth come first.

What We Offer

$15.50 /hr. to start – $16.50 /hr. after 90 days
Mileage Reimbursement: Seventy cents per mile.
Eligible for Frontline Staff Incentive Plan, up to $900 paid quarterly.

This position provides per diem hours with flexibility. Ideal for individuals seeking work outside standard business hours, including students, caregivers, parents or those looking for work that fits around other commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, supervision, and companionship to seniors.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and transfers.
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as needed.
  • Travel to participants' homes and accompany them to appointments when required.
  • Observe and report any changes in participant condition to the care team.
  • Document care and services accurately in Alaya Care.
  • Participate in team discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Build rapport and trust through kindness, empathy, and respectful communication.
  • Adapt daily schedules based on participant needs, appointments, hospitalizations, or changes in care plans.
  • Communicate promptly with scheduling staff and the interdisciplinary team regarding participant needs and schedule updates.
  • Provide transportation assistance to participant appointments, including dialysis and specialty appointments when assigned.
  • Maintain flexibility to support changing participant care priorities while ensuring quality, safety, and exceptional service.
  • Friendly, patient, and comfortable engaging with people from all walks of life.
  • Brings calm, consistency, and professionalism when priorities or schedules change.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative; values communication and shared success.
  • Able to follow established routines while using good judgment in daily care.
  • Comfortable adapting to changing daily schedules while maintaining exceptional participant care.
  • Communicates effectively with teammates when plans change.
  • Remains organized, dependable, and positive in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire — we'll provide the training!)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with the frail or elderly population is a plus — but not required. We'll provide hands-on training and mentoring to help you grow!

  • Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, and TB screening.
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist with participant evacuations when necessary.
  • May encounter environmental challenges in participant homes — proper protocols must be followed.
