Cabinet Design Specialist

CABINET DESIGN SPECIALIST   Dimond Millwork (BMS) – 1701 E Dimond Circle (99507)   This individual is responsible for creating designs and drawings prepared directly from information submitted on a company order form, client’s customer selection sheet, repeated from previous jobs, or from information developed by a design manager.    What You'll Do:     Follow quality control procedures for completeness, accuracy, and code compliance for the implementation of design standards.   Confers with client, and prepares design modifications as required.   Develop and complete design details from original concept drawings and prepare layouts.   Writes technical descriptions specifying material qualities and properties.   Demonstrate a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement.   Provides customer service primarily to retail customers, via walk-in, telephone or email, including assisting with customer inquiries on product selection, pricing, availability, refunds/exchanges requiring a working knowledge of company products, procedures and practices.   Enters orders into system and schedules delivery of products.   Plans and paces own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals.   Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.     Minimum Requirements:   High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)     Work Environment / Physical Activity:   Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds. Standing or walking for 80% of the day.  Stooping and kneeling throughout the day.  Reaching-extending the hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
