The Role
Following the successful launch of their brand, our client are seeking a creative and forward-thinking Graduate Social Media Executive to elevate their digital presence.
The primary focus of this role is to cut through marketplace noise by bringing dynamic energy to our channels. You will achieve this through an emphasis on video production, animation, and real-time trend utilisation. Responsibilities
~1 min readVisual Content Creation: Create engaging visual content including Meta Shorts, TikToks, Reel, and animations to bring our brand identity to life.
Content Delivery: Oversee the scheduling and distribution of assets across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand narrative.
Community Management: Interact professionally and authentically with our growing online community, transforming followers into brand advocates through proactive engagement.
Trend Analysis: Monitor industry developments, digital culture, and platform updates in real-time to execute timely content that positions our brand at the center of relevant conversations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our marketing agency and design teams to translate overarching campaign concepts into high-performing social assets.
Performance Reporting: Track key performance metrics such as views and engagement to deliver insights that refine and improve our visual strategy.
Educational Background: A recent graduate with a degree in Creative Media, Marketing, Film and Video Production, Animation, or a related discipline.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience creating and editing short-form video content using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, or native platform editors.
Creative Mindset: An innovative thinker who understands audience retention hooks and is confident pitching bold, sophisticated concepts.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inject brand personality and professionalism into captions and interactions.
A Creative Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating your capability in visual content creation is essential. This can include university projects, freelance work, or management of personal and organisational social channels.
This is your chance to build something from scratch. You'll have genuine ownership of our social channels, tone of voice, and ways of working in a brand-new business stream. As the first person in this role, you'll design the playbooks and processes that will scale with us, with clear visibility to senior stakeholders and strong potential for progression as we grow.
