Business-Class is a US-based travel-tech company with offices in Florida, Riga, and Chișinău. We operate in the premium & luxury travel segment, helping clients find the best deals on business and first-class flights worldwide.
Under the hood is a multi-domain platform covering search & booking, payment processing, internal operations, and a growing number of external integrations. This is a live, actively evolving product — not a legacy monolith in maintenance mode.

The Role
We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer who thinks in systems, owns their work end-to-end, and is comfortable navigating a mature codebase while continuously improving it. You will work on backend architecture, integrations with GDS providers, payment flows, and internal tooling — with real impact on a product used daily by clients and operations teams alike.

Tech Stack & Requirements
PHP & Frameworks
PHP 8.3+ — confident daily use; production currently runs on 8.5
Symfony 8 — deep knowledge: Messenger (multi-transport, rate-limited queues), Doctrine ORM (Gedmo extensions, polymorphic inheritance, append-only audit logs), Workflow, RateLimiter, EasyAdmin, NelmioApiDoc
Laravel — Eloquent ORM, queues, service container, package development
Data & Infrastructure
MySQL 8 — indexing strategies, transactions, deadlock handling, append-only audit patterns
Redis — queue management and caching
AWS — KMS (field-level encryption + blind indexing), CloudWatch
Docker, GitHub Actions — including 3-tier shared workflow architecture
Observability & APIs
DataDog APM, Rollbar — real production experience, not just familiarity
OAuth2 client_credentials / S2S authentication
OpenAPI/Swagger — API design and documentation
Integrations
GDS integrations — Amadeus and/or Sabre (XML/SOAP)
