Design Technology Coordinator, Rhino-centric

• →Set the standard for Rhino, Grasshopper, and Python across the practice. You will ensure our teams have the tools and knowledge to use them effectively by:

• →Establishing, maintaining, and providing ongoing training for Rhino, Grasshopper, and Python.

• →Implementing guidance for the practice regarding the use of Rhino Inside Revit.

• →Managing application support for Rhino, Grasshopper, and other DT tools.

• →Testing and rolling out ongoing upgrades to the design technology software stack.

• →Collaborate with other Design Technology Coordinators to effectively manage and maintain our broader suite of tools, including Revit.
• →Support the facilitation of the Design Technology Network, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.
• →Coordinate the development and maintenance of design technology, technical resources and documentation.
• →Partner with the wider Technology team to deliver a seamless and inspiring technology experience for all BVNers.
  
  

• Expertise in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Python, with a strong understanding of Autodesk Revit (BVN’s primary documentation platform).
• Proven project delivery experience using BIM and computational design tools.
• A collaborative, problem-solving mindset with a natural ability to bring people together and share ideas.
• Deep knowledge of software interoperability, particularly in standardising the approach to Rhino Inside Revit.
• A genuine appetite for education, with the ability to deliver engaging training and mentorship.
• A future-focused mindset, you’re genuinely curious about how emerging tech and new ways of working can evolve the way we design and deliver.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance.

While this role is Rhino-centric, we use a diverse range of applications, including Revit, Enscape, dRofus, and burgeoning AI-based tools. Familiarity with these, along with a passion for automation, is highly desirable.
