Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Install, configure, and maintain classroom AV and VTC systems.
- →Troubleshoot projectors, displays, control systems, audio processors, microphones, speakers, and associated cabling.
- →Support wired and wireless presentation systems.
- →Perform preventive maintenance and lifecycle sustainment of AV equipment.
- →Respond to and resolve service requests within required timeframes.
- →Support system upgrades, component replacements, and configuration changes.
- →Coordinate with network and IT personnel to ensure proper integration of AV systems.
- →Assist in setup and operational support for official events and training sessions.
- →Maintain documentation of AV system configurations and updates.
- →Ensure compliance with security and facility access requirements
Requirements
~1 min read- U.S. Citizenship.
- An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- Professional experience supporting commercial or enterprise AV systems.
- Experience troubleshooting audio, video, and control system components.
- Familiarity with digital signal processing (DSP) equipment.
- Experience supporting classroom or conference room technology environments.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Must obtain basic Crestron, AMX, Biamp, and Extron training within 120 days after contract award. These certifications and training are at the Contractor’s expense and all time requirements run concurrently from contract award.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of equipment settings related to normal operation of Audio Visual and Information Technology systems.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb/work at heights up to 20 feet.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- InfoComm International Certification in Audiovisual Technology, required and must remain current with no lapse in recertification.
Requirements
~1 min read- InfoComm International Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification in Audio Visual Technology Installation (CTS-I)
- Experience supporting large training environments (multiple classrooms).
- Experience integrating AV systems with enterprise networks.
- Experience supporting senior leadership event operations.
- Familiarity with DoD or federal facility environments.
- Associate’s degree in a related field; OR three (3) years of technically related field experience providing audio visual support is required.
