You will be involved from tender and pre-construction phases through to project delivery, ensuring that construction methodologies, sequencing, temporary works, and logistical strategies are technically sound, practical, and aligned with operational requirements.
In this multidisciplinary role, you work closely with engineering, planning, and construction teams to translate technical designs into safe, efficient, and buildable execution methodologies for marine works.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design coordination activities to ensure constructability across structural, marine, and specialist systems
• Review engineering designs and propose practical construction methodologies and alternative solutions
• Identify technical and execution risks during early project phases and contribute to mitigation strategies
• Define construction methodologies, work sequencing, and execution strategies for marine infrastructure projects
• Coordinate with technical, planning, and site teams regarding logistics, equipment requirements, and operational constraints
• Support planning related to temporary works, lifting operations, marine equipment, and installation activities
• Support planning of temporary construction facilities, operational layouts, and logistics areas required for project execution
• Support layout planning and operational organization for construction activities
• Coordinate technical execution documentation and construction methodology deliverables related to marine operations
• Review and coordinate shop drawings related to construction methodologies and temporary works
• Support preparation of Risk Assessments in coordination with HSE teams
• Ensure implementation of Temporary Works Management procedures in line with project and company standards
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment between engineering, planning, and execution
• Support implementation of project management procedures related to HSE, construction management, and quality systems
• Monitor deliverables, priorities, and timelines related to methods engineering activities
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related construction discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience within large-scale marine construction projects, preferably Design & Build environments
• Strong experience as a Marine Method Engineer directly involved in project execution and construction activities on site
• Experience with construction methodologies, temporary works, and construction sequencing within marine environments
• Experience with complex marine infrastructure and coastal construction activities, including temporary works and marine installation methods, such as quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, reclamation, marine piling.
• Experience preparing and coordinating Method Statements and shop drawings
• Good knowledge of marine equipment, lifting operations, and piling equipment
• Familiarity with logistics planning, temporary facilities, and precast/storage yard organization
• Practical and solution-oriented mindset with strong constructability awareness
• Strong coordination and communication skills within multidisciplinary project teams
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced project environments
• Previous Middle East project experience is considered an asset
