Head of Portfolio Delivery

We are looking for an experienced Head of Portfolio Delivery who will own and scale a portfolio of 150–200M PLN in annual revenue, lead the delivery team with 150+ people and act as a bridge between delivery, sales and technical innovation.
In this role you will have responsibility for the delivery in Callstack, managing multiple projects to ensure consistent quality and operational excellence. The Head of Portfolio Delivery holds end-to-end accountability for the portfolio’s P&L. You also build strategic partnerships, navigating complex stakeholder dynamics to ensure project results meet both client and company goals as long as addresses Callstack’s long-term growth objectives.
You will cooperate with the Head of Engineering to adapt deeply technical business value propositions and Head of Customer Success to support pre-sales activities (solutioning) and assure feasibility and profitability of sold services.
Ensure in-depth understanding of clients' needs, timely delivery of projects, and efficient client communication.
Introduce well-proven and adequate project management methodology and standardizing delivery frameworks across the portfolio.
Optimize revenue structure and processes across the portfolio.
Monitor project profitability, margins, and burn rates to ensure financial targets are met.
Track and optimize billable utilization rates across the delivery team.
Build and maintain positive relationships with client project stakeholders.
Support Account Management team in idenfitification and delivery of upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Ensure smooth internal communication on Clients' upselling and cross-selling opportunities and readiness to deliver.
Partner with Engineering departments to align delivery standards with technical excellence, release new offerings and manage technical risks.
Collaborate with Resourcing and Talent teams for capacity planning, forecasting, and ensuring optimal team allocation.
Serve as the final point of escalation for high-priority delivery and stakeholder issues.
Contribute to transformation of Callstack.
Ensure appropriate adaptation and release of new GTM.
Drive CI initiatives.
Develop and improve tools and internal processes.
Establish and monitor Portfolio Health KPIs (e.g., NPS, On-Time Delivery, Quality Score).
Support the growth and development and supervise performance management processes of people in Delivery Department.
Monitor overall team performance.
At least 10+ years of proven success in delivery management roles in B2B enterprise services, preferably within the IT or software development sector, with at least 5+ years leading delivery units.
Demonstrated track record of being End to End responsible for a large P&L portfolio (100M+ PLN or equivalent) with measurable YoY revenue expansion and 20%+ margin.
Strong track record in pre-sales activities, creating delivery solutions, cooperating with international clients.
In-depth, practical project management knowledge supported by adequate certificates.
Ability to collaborate closely with engineering leadership and translate complex technical roadmaps into compelling business value for C-level stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze data, trends, and to adapt existing processes to changing needs.
Near-native command of English (min. C1) with the ability to influence, present, and negotiate at the executive level.
Proven ability to move beyond “delivery vendor” status to become a trusted business advisor and strategic partner.
Strong financial acumen - comfortable with P&L ownership, forecasting, reporting, and KPI-driven management.
Technical familiarity sufficient to communicate effectively with engineering leads on project complexities.
Proven ability to operate as an outcome manager, taking ownership of measurable delivery results rather than only managing project plans, timelines, and task execution.
Willingness to improve efficiency, automate, industrialize with usage of the newest tools and methodologies available on the market.
A self-driven, entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving, team building, and client relationship development.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
