This position oversees and manages efficient court operations, including scheduling, calendaring, juror management, and recordkeeping. Ensures that court staff provides administrative support to judges, magistrates, and other court personnel.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a strong understanding of court procedures and legal terminology. The person selected will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective administration of justice.
Requirements

- Have or be able to obtain security clearance to access criminal justice information within 7 days of hire.
- Have a GED or High School Diploma.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in municipal court administration, court operations, or legal administration.
Travel for this position is considered minimal. Some local travel may be required to perform essential duties or obtain training and certifications. Occasional travel outside the local area may be required to obtain and maintain training and certifications.

- →Bachelor's degree in public administration, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- →Must be able to obtain and maintain Texas Municipal Court Education Center Level I certification within 12 months of the hire date.
- →Must be able to obtain and maintain Texas Municipal Court Education Center Level II certification within 3 years of the hire date.

- Financial reconciliation and reporting.
- Computer applications and court software systems.
- Data analysis and report preparation.

- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Supervise staff and promote accountability.
- Analyze operational issues and implement solutions.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
- Occasional lifting of files and materials up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and electronically.
The position is a 40-hour-per-week position. Some evening work hours may be required to provide court services to citizens.
