- 12+ years of Army, Joint, capability-development, concept-development, experimentation, strategic-planning, or defense-analysis experience, including experience at brigade/enterprise staff level or above.
- Demonstrated expertise integrating concepts, requirements, experimentation, DOTMLPF-P solutions, capability gaps, and senior-leader decision processes.
- Experience planning and facilitating enterprise-level integration forums, working groups, workshops, or governance bodies.
- Strong research, facilitation, analytical writing, and executive-briefing skills.
- CGSC graduate or equivalent senior Service education; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with FID/FCC/AFC/T2COM, QIF, TBA/T/CBA/CBA, Forge/Pathfinder/Vantage, gap mitigation, or Army Campaign of Learning processes.
- Experience applying formal risk methodologies, decision analysis, data visualization, or portfolio-management methods.
- PMP, DAU capability-development coursework, or comparable program/integration credentials.
Leads integration between Army concepts, learning, experimentation, capability gaps, requirements, DOTMLPF-P solutions, and senior-leader decision forums. The analyst supports FID’s Quarterly Integration Forum, concept-to-capability governance, integrated learning activities, and gap-risk mitigation efforts to help capability developers identify, assess, prioritize, and track material and non-materiel solutions.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Plan, coordinate, and execute Quarterly Integration Forums and other concept-to-capability integration events, including OPORD development, stakeholder synchronization, agendas, read-aheads, collaboration sites, distribution lists, and post-event actions.
- →Integrate concept, experimentation, wargaming, T/CBA/CBA, requirements, S&T, architecture, force design, and resourcing activities into a coherent learning and capability-development framework.
- →Facilitate cross-functional teams and planning sessions involving FID divisions, FCC G-3/5/7, Directorate of Concepts, FCDs, PAEs, CAC, DEVCOM, ASCCs, and T2COM stakeholders.
- →Develop and refine gap-risk mitigation methodologies and decision-support tools that assess residual operational risk and visualize progress of DOTMLPF-P solution sets over time.
- →Assess stakeholder feedback, validate data inputs, respond to RFIs, and maintain traceability among concepts, learning demands, gaps, mitigation actions, and decision points.
- →Prepare senior-leader briefings, recommendations, executive summaries, plans, and integration products; identify emerging issues and recommend governance or process improvements.
- →Maintain authoritative branch records, event archives, decision logs, onboarding resources, and inputs to CDRL A017/A018 and recurring contract reports.
Decision-support briefings; analyses and assessments; meeting notes and executive summaries; staffing comments and comment-resolution inputs; plans, trackers, status updates, and recurring CDRL/monthly-report contributions appropriate to the assigned PWS task.
Exercises sound independent judgment; meets short suspense requirements; collaborates effectively across Army, Joint, civilian, contractor, and multinational organizations; protects sensitive and classified information; and produces accurate, timely, and staff-ready products requiring minimal government revision.
