General Description
The Seasonal Shuttle & Parking Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and
support of the Shuttle and Parking teams at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park during the
busy summer season. This role works alongside frontline team members to ensure the safe, efficient, and
welcoming arrival and departure experience for all guests.
The Seasonal Shuttle & Parking Supervisor provides operational leadership in the parking lots, bus
areas, front entrance, and luggage service areas. They support guest service excellence by coordinating daily
activities, responding to operational challenges, assisting guests, and maintaining effective communication
with shuttle providers, tour operators, drivers, and internal departments.
This is a hands-on operational role focused on supporting daily business needs, leading by example, and
ensuring a safe and positive experience for guests and team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Operations
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and support to the Shuttle & Parking teams.
  • Work alongside team members in parking, shuttle, and luggage operations as required.
  • Ensure guests receive a warm, friendly, and professional welcome upon arrival.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
  • Maintain clear communication with shuttle drivers, tour operators, escorts, and internal departments regarding guest arrivals and departures.
  • Monitor parking lots, shuttle loading areas, bus parking areas, and luggage service operations to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Assist with the coordination of overflow parking and shuttle operations during peak periods.
  • Monitor tour and shuttle bus arrivals and communicate operational updates as required.
  • Support daily luggage storage and handling operations, ensuring guest belongings are managed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure parking, shuttle, luggage, and front entrance areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
  • Assist with maintaining signage, guest wayfinding, and overall front-of-house appearance.
  • Support the delivery of a consistent and exceptional guest experience in alignment with Capilano Suspension Bridge Park's service standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Leadership
  • Lead by example and foster a positive, respectful, and guest-focused work environment.
  • Provide direction, support, and coaching to team members throughout the shift.
  • Communicate daily priorities, operational updates, and safety information to the team.
  • Assist with the onboarding and training of seasonal team members.
  • Recognize and reinforce positive performance and service excellence.

Health & Safety
  • Promote a safety-first culture for guests and team members.
  • Monitor operations to identify and address hazards, unsafe conditions, or operational concerns.
  • Ensure team members follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work
practices.
  • Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used when required.
  • Assist with incident response and reporting as needed.
  • Work cooperatively with the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee and leadership team to maintain a safe workplace.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a shuttle and parking, guest service, tourism, hospitality, transportation, or operational leadership role.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional while managing guest concerns and operational challenges.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and walking or standing for extended periods.
  • Demonstrated commitment to guest service, teamwork, and safety.
  • Valid First Aid Level 2 or 3 certification is considered a strong asset.
Wage Range: $24-$28 per hour.
