Based in Delft, we focus on enabling higher performance and reducing critical material dependencies in the battery supply chain.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Battery Engineer, you’ll play a key role in making sure our new materials work just as they should. You’ll work alongside other engineers and technicians to help improve our materials and processes.
Based on your expertise you will be assigned to one of these two functions below:
In this function, you will work on:
Slurry mixing, rheology, finess & solid content measurements
Electrode coating & calendering
Electrode quality control & characterization
In this function, you will work on:
Cell assembly (coin / SLP)
Battery testing & data processing
Post-mortem analysis

What We Offer
~1 min read· MBO, HBO or Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
· At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a battery lab environment. Experience from pilot or commercial scale battery production is less relevant.
· Expert skills in one or more of the following areas: slurry making, coating, calendaring, SLP assembly.
· Proven expertise in performing various laboratory tests and analyses.
· Understanding quality control methodologies, with the ability to identify deviations from standards and ensure products meet safety, performance, and reliability requirements.
· Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
· Patience in performing repetitive tasks with high precision and attention to detail.
· Team player: You enjoy working closely with others to reach a shared goal.
· A passion for sustainability and innovation.
