General Maintenance Technician

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production.  Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.  We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Real Alloy in Sapulpa, OK, is expanding and adding to our team!  Maintenance Technician needed! 

 

Starting pay $30/hour plus a night shift differential

 

Tuesday - Saturday night schedule 7pm-3:30am, overtime as needed

 

• →Understanding and complying with general plant policies, plant safety and housekeeping policies, and plant environmental policies.
• →Troubleshooting equipment problems and making necessary repairs to restore equipment to proper operating condition.
• →Perform installation or repair work on motors, wiring and control cabinets, along with mobile equipment such as forklifts, pay loaders, and skid steer loaders.
• →Maintain safe and clean work environment while ensuring that proper work procedures and practices are followed.
• →Operate industrial vehicles including forklift, reach lift, man lift, and skid steer.
• →Attend and participate in all required safety trainings and meetings.
• →Welding fabrication and weld repair with a concentration on MIG and STIC welding.

Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work overtime and be on-call as needed
• 3+ years work experience in a trade profession or industrial maintenance
• Advanced technical training through trade school or higher education; willingness to learn new skills through ongoing training
• Mobile Equipment repair skills preferred
