The Sales Learning & Coaching team is responsible for empowering our Schwab Retail professionals to build trusted relationships and deliver modern wealth management to our clients through world-class learning and coaching experiences. Our goal is to enable increased engagement and retention of clients, enhance confidence in the professionals we support, and improve overall sales professional performance.

 

This role will report to the Director of Sales Learning and Coaching Strategy and will play a critical part in shaping how strategy is enabled through technology, insights, platforms, and AI. The role will help translate business priorities into scalable solutions that improve leader decision-making, modernize learning and coaching experiences, deepen client relationships, and drive meaningful outcomes across Schwab Retail.

Responsibilities

  • →Shape strategy and executive narratives: Translate business priorities, insights, and tradeoffs into clear strategies, roadmaps, and executive communications that drive alignment and action.
  • →Advance technology-enabled solutions: Use data, platforms, automation, and AI to simplify work, personalize experiences, improve adoption, and scale learning and coaching impact.
  • →Lead complex initiatives: Structure and manage cross-functional workstreams, priorities, timelines, risks, stakeholder feedback, adoption plans, and performance measures.
  • →Turn ambiguity into action: Apply structured problem solving, data, leader feedback, and business context to assess impacts, clarify tradeoffs, and recommend practical next steps.
  • →Build partnerships and adapt quickly: Influence across business, technology, risk, and analytics teams while navigating changing priorities and balancing speed, governance, adoption, and scalability.
  • Learning and coaching strategies are supported by clear technology roadmaps, scalable tools, and practical execution plans.
  • Leaders have easier access to insights, dashboards, and platform experiences that help them prioritize, coach, and make decisions with confidence.
  • Technology, data, and AI are used to simplify manual work, personalize learning and coaching moments, and improve adoption across the field.
  • Cross-functional teams are aligned on priorities, success measures, risks, and tradeoffs before solutions are launched.
  • The work creates measurable business impact through stronger leader routines, improved sales professional readiness, deeper client relationships, and better performance outcomes.
  • Microsoft 365 suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Loop.
  • Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • SQL and Tableau for data analysis, reporting, dashboarding, and insight generation.
  • GitHub and Visual Studio Code for solution documentation, technical collaboration, version control awareness, and partnership with technology teams.
  • Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools to support research, content creation, automation, process improvement, and scalable learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, communications, program management, learning, enablement, analytics, platforms, or technology-related roles preferred.
  • Experience translating business strategy into scalable tools, operating models, dashboards, platforms, or AI-enabled solutions preferred.
  • Corporate strategy experience is preferred.
  • Financial Services industry experience is preferred.
