Responsibilities

→Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting preferred; dermatology experience preferred
→Experience rooming patients, measuring vital signs, and preparing patients for appointments
→Ability to triage patient concerns and communicate effectively with providers
→Experience administering injections and assisting with clinical procedures
→Working knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding
→Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and Bloodborne Pathogen standards
→Proficient in EMR systems and basic computer applications
→Ability to operate standard office equipment (computer, fax, copier, scanner, etc.)
→Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English
→Ability to multitask, prioritize, and function effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
→Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with staff, patients, and providers
→Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
→Ability to travel to satellite offices as needed

High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of a Medical Assistant program, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program, or a bachelor’s degree in a pre-med or pre-physician assistant track preferred
1-2 years of recent experience as a Medical Assistant, CNA, or in a clinical patient care role preferred
Prior dermatology experience preferred
