Program Manager

Abacus Technology is seeking a Program Manager to lead and oversee a team of technical professionals providing support for the U.S. military in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).  This is a full-time position located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

• →Oversee staffing, formulate and enforce work standards, create personnel schedules, review work discrepancies, and communicate Government policies, purposes, and goals to employees.
• →Utilize key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, ensure delivery of contracted services, support management and decision-making, and facilitate communications.
• →Advise the Government immediately of any operations, maintenance, logistics, training, or management problems affecting the contractor's performance or impacting mission accomplishment.
• →Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• →Implement and maintain a process that ensures problems and action items discussed with the Government are tracked through resolution.
• →Track actions taken to improve performance and conduct lessons learned as appropriate to improves processes and methods.
• →Establish and maintain processes for administering all contract efforts with an emphasis on cost-efficiency, schedule, performance, responsiveness, and consistently high-quality delivery.
• →Identify potential cost reduction/mitigation initiatives, efficiencies, and process improvements on a continuing basis and address their progress during Program Management Reviews (PMRs).

10+ years experience in a project or program management role for technical programs.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Related certifications a plus.  Technical background in an IT or engineering field desired.  Proven expertise in managing cost, resources, schedules, and risks.  Must be knowledgeable of Air Force tools and technologies.  Experience with DoD systems and military protocols.  Able to provide clear and concise directions to staff regarding project execution.  Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organization.  Able to foster effective government-contractor relationships to promote mutually beneficial partnerships.  Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance and willing to relocate to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
