Sabal Palms Recovery Center is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our detox and residential programs. This is a high-impact leadership role with strong corporate backing, a collaborative clinical team, and a stable, recovery-focused environment.
Conveniently located within commuting distance of Spring Hill, Wesley Chapel, Land O’ Lakes, Crystal River, and North Tampa (~30–60 minutes)
As the Director of Nursing, you will guide and support our clinical nursing team to ensure safe, high‑quality, patient‑centered care throughout our detox and residential programs. You’ll foster a positive, growth‑oriented environment while upholding regulatory compliance and clinical best practices.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide strategic and day‑to‑day leadership for all nursing operations
- →Oversee clinical quality, safety, and performance improvement
- →Support individualized treatment planning and continuity of care
- →Collaborate with medical and behavioral health leadership
- →Mentor, support, and develop nursing staff
- →Ensure adherence to state, federal, and facility standards
You’ll operate with autonomy at the facility level while benefiting from Acadia Healthcare’s national resources:
- Corporate Nurse Executive Support for regulatory guidance and clinical best practices
- Corporate Recruiting Partnership to help you build a strong and stable nursing team
Requirements
~1 min read- Active RN license (FL or compact eligible)
- 3+ years RN experience (behavioral health preferred)
- 2+ years leadership experience (Manager, Supervisor, DON)
- Experience in detox, psych, or addiction treatment is a plus
- Open to experienced Nurse Managers, or Supervisors ready for a DON step-up!
