  • Supports end-to-end supply chain for diesel generator packaging projects
  • Ensures materials align with engineering BOMs, schedules, and customer requirements
  • Analyzes material demand, supplier performance, and inventory flow

Responsibilities

  • Analyze BOMs, routers, and production schedules to determine material needs
  • Maintain ERP (Global Shop) data including lead times, pricing and suppliers
  • Monitor shortages and proactively resolve material gaps
  • Track inventory, support cycle counts, and improve inventory accuracy
  • Analyze supplier performance including delivery, quality, and cost
  • Support sourcing decisions and resolve supplier issues
  • Ensure material availability aligns with production schedules
  • Coordinate with production to resolve shortages or substitutions
  • Develop reports on KPIs such as delivery performance, inventory, and lead times
  • Identify inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain or manufacturing
  • Strong ERP experience (Global Shop preferred)
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of BOMs, ERP, inventory, and supplier management
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

Work is normally performed both indoors and outdoors with moderate noise conditions. Limited exposure to all weather conditions is associated with this position. Physical requirements may include speaking, listening, writing, typing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50lbs safely, sitting for extended periods, and managing stress. Occasionally required to walk or stand for short durations on manufacturing floors or job sites. Job hazards may include tripping, slipping, falling, jobsite hazards, hand injuries, driving related hazards, equipment movement, overexertion due to stress and fatigue. Required to follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment depending on the environment or location. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. The noise level in the office environment is usually moderate to low. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Occasional travel may be required. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
