The Lindens Program is looking for an intern to provide administrative and operational support to the healthcare team while gaining practical experience in care coordination, medical documentation, compliance activities, and interdisciplinary healthcare collaboration. Under supervision, the Intern assists with scheduling, record maintenance, medication-related administrative tasks, and other projects that support efficient and compliant patient care operations.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmation calls, and coordination activities.
- →Support medication refill requests and follow-up communication with provider offices and pharmacies.
- →Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records, treatment histories, and laboratory information.
- →Participate in medication reconciliation activities under appropriate supervision.
- →Communicate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, laboratories, and internal care teams to support care coordination efforts.
- →Assist with patient advocacy and follow-up activities, including appointment coordination, prescription requests, and laboratory tracking.
- →Help maintain and organize referral, appointment, and follow-up tracking systems.
- →Support chart audits and documentation reviews to promote record accuracy and completeness.
- →Assist with medication room organization, inventory monitoring, and compliance-related activities.
- →Help identify supplies requiring replenishment, removal, or corrective action.
- →Learn and follow applicable regulatory, confidentiality, and documentation standards.
- →Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

Current enrollment in a healthcare, nursing, or related educational program.
Special Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Ability to work under supervision and follow established procedures.
