About the Role
~1 min readAs a Certified Medical Assistant, you will provide patient care under the direction of the physician or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in an ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include assisting with patient examinations and procedures, gathering patient information, administering approved treatments, processing calls, coordinating specialty referrals, entering laboratory and diagnostic imaging orders, and supporting overall clinic operations.
This practice does not have an on-site laboratory technician, so Medical Assistants play an essential role in both patient care and diagnostic support. The ideal candidate must be comfortable performing blood draws and assisting with in-house X-rays as part of their daily responsibilities.
