Senior IFRS Consultant

Are you passionate about IFRS and eager to further deepen your technical accounting expertise? As a Senior IFRS Consultant at BDO, you will support audit and accountancy teams as well as clients on complex IFRS matters. You will combine technical research, financial statement reviews, and practical advisory work, while continuing to grow within a collaborative and knowledge-driven environment.

As an IFRS Consultant at BDO, you will play an important role in supporting our teams and clients on IFRS-related matters. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting audit and accountancy teams on IFRS-related questions and technical accounting matters
• Reviewing IFRS financial statements and disclosures, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with IFRS requirements
• Researching complex IFRS topics and translating your findings into clear, practical guidance
• Contributing to IFRS conversion or advisory projects, working closely with managers, partners and client teams
• Preparing technical memos, presentations and client deliverables
• Sharing knowledge by contributing to internal trainings, updates and technical documentation

We're looking for professionals who:

• Have 4–7 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting advisory, or financial reporting, with solid IFRS knowledge of at least 3 years and a strong interest in further developing your technical expertise.
• Can perform technical research and apply IFRS guidance to practical client situations.
• Communicate clearly and present confidently.
• Are analytical, structured and quality-minded
• Enjoy collaborating with colleagues and supporting teams in finding practical solutions.
• Are fluent in Dutch and/or French, with a strong command of English.
