As a Certified Transportation Aide (CTA) you will perform a dual role of providing resident care as a CNA as well as transporting residents to and from medical appointments and outings. Transportation is a service that is highly valued by our residents to fulfill their medical and social needs.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →The Transportation Aide is responsible for scheduling and driving community vehicles to transport residents in safe and efficient manner.
- →The Transportation Aide assists with loading and unloading of passengers and may be needed to assist in and out of destination.
- →The Transportation Aide provides direct resident care and reports conditions and changes to RN or LPN.
Requirements
~1 min read- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
- Must have valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle assigned to operate
- Safe driving record (no at-fault accidents, serious driving violations, or minor moving violations within the last three years)
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
