Senior Technical Product Owner – Data Products

CommunityAmerica Federal Credit Union seeks a Senior Technical Product Owner – Data Products for Lenexa, Kansas.  

The Senior Technical Product Owner – Data Products will deliver and continuously improve Data Warehouse/Lakehouse data products and solutions that enable CommunityAmerica’s strategic goals and initiatives. Partner with business leaders, Analytics & Data Science teams, and other stakeholders to understand objectives; identify required data, metrics, and capabilities; and align data product direction to measurable outcomes. Develop conceptual and logical data models, business definitions, KPI/metric specifications needed to support product capabilities. Define high-level data curation and pipeline requirements to enable trusted, consumption-ready datasets. Prioritize capabilities and translate them into development-ready requirements, including epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Lead Agile/Scrum execution by articulating product goals and scope, supporting solution design with data architects and engineers, contributing to estimation and sprint planning, and maintaining a healthy, prioritized data product backlog. Partner with business and IT teams to ensure collaborative engagement in solution development, release planning, and adoption of implemented solutions to achieve intended business results. Develop and communicate roadmaps to drive the evolution of existing data products and platforms. Own outcomes by tracking adoption and value realization and driving continuous improvement. Build domain and platform fluency across credit union business domains and CommunityAmerica’s data ecosystem (on-prem and cloud platforms, applications, integrations). Use data analysis and profiling to assess data quality, identify insights and gaps, and inform product decisions and prioritization.
