Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide support for numerous one-of-a-kind water and wastewater conveyance projects supporting critical systems that keep our environment safe and clean
- →Performing engineering work in water and wastewater pump stations and conveyance infrastructure
- →Work on engineering planning and design projects
- →Prepare reports
- →Develop plans and specifications
- →Prepare cost estimates for various projects
- →Hydraulic system modeling
- →Development of alternative analysis of design options
- →Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
Requirements
~1 min read- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering field
- Highly motivated, articulate and self-starter
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.Work well in a team environment
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with peers and mentors
- Enrolled or completed junior year of civil or mechanical engineering degree program
- Experience and/or coursework in water/wastewater treatment and conveyance
- Previous related internship experience a plus, but not required
- Passed or scheduled for the FE/EIT exam
- Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, Microstation, Revit, Sketch Up)
What We Offer
~1 min read$22 to $29 per hour. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
