At Change Grow Live, we’re more than a charity – we’re a community. A place where people thrive, learn, grow, and belong.

We thrive by recruiting for success and creating the conditions for people to do their best work. We recognise and reward effort, promote agility and flexibility, and create safe, healthy environments for all. Together, we’re identifying and supporting future talent and leaders who will help us deliver our mission: to support people to change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential.

About the Role

~1 min read

We’re excited to be recruiting for our SmokeFree Croydon service — and we’re looking for an Engagement & Referral Support Worker to join us on this journey.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a specialist stop smoking service focused on improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities across Croydon.

You’ll play an important role in supporting outreach, engagement, referral pathways, and community-based activities — helping people access the support they need to make positive lifestyle changes.

Working alongside Smoke Free Advisors and partner organisations, you’ll support individuals from diverse communities, including those accessing mental health, substance misuse, homelessness, and wider wellbeing services. Through compassionate engagement and community connection, you’ll help improve accessibility, increase referrals, and support people on their smoke-free journey.

Working in Croydon means being part of a vibrant, diverse, and dynamic community with a strong local identity. It’s a borough full of energy, resilience, and opportunity — where you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives while working alongside passionate partners and community organisations committed to improving health and wellbeing.

  • Everyone experiences a sense of belonging, where every voice counts.

  • We are inclusive, engaging and connecting at all levels.

  • We foster open, transparent, and people-focused cultures where we live our values every day.

  • We deliver world-class learning and development services that help people grow professionally and personally — because when you thrive, we thrive.
