Working within a multi-disciplinary safeguarding environment, you will:

Act as the key substance misuse representative within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
Gather, analyse and present relevant substance misuse information to support multi-agency risk assessments and safeguarding decisions.
Provide professional advice relating to substance misuse, safeguarding and domestic abuse concerns.
Support service users through assessment, recovery planning and referral pathways.
Work closely with statutory and voluntary partners, including social care, health services, criminal justice agencies and community organisations.
Maintain accurate records and ensure information is shared appropriately with partner agencies.
Contribute to the development of information-sharing protocols and continuous improvement of MASH processes.
Promote recovery, resilience and positive outcomes for people affected by substance misuse.

We're looking for someone who has:

Experience working within substance misuse, recovery, safeguarding, health, social care or a related field.
A strong understanding of drug and alcohol issues and their impact on individuals, families and communities.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable adults.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to a range of professionals.
Experience of partnership working and multi-agency collaboration.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
