Transportation Supervisor

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the transportation effort.

• →Supervise the establishment, operation, performance, and management of the Travel and Freight Offices.
• →Conduct meetings
• →Evaluate plans
• →Prepare reports, plans, and working instructions
• →Plan and direct personnel and required resources for day-to-day mission support.
• →Provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.
• →Other duties as assigned

• Minimum four (4) years supervisory experience and related work experience.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

• Bachelor's Degree in Management 

• Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in assigned area of responsibility.
• Knowledge of all installed product software at the use/operator level and automated data processing policies and procedures as they pertain to assigned equipment, both STAMIS and Installation desktop computer which will allow the contractor to solve and/or contact appropriate technical support to resolve any problem associated with these systems.
• Skills in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
• Ability to proficiently utilize Electronic Transportation Operational Personal Property Standardized System, and the Defense Personal Property System.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to complete and prioritize tasks on multiple concurrent projects within given timeframes.

• Sufficient fine motor skill for use of computers, calculator with an ability to withstand repetitive keyboarding for extended periods of time
• Visual, auditory and communication abilities sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
• Ability to kneel bend and twist at the waist on an occasional basis,
• Ability to push, pull, carry and lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and more on an occasional basis
• Ability to travel by plane and safely operate a motor vehicle.
