Dental Assistant (X-Ray Certified)

• →Plan, implement, and evaluate dental care for patients based on individual, specific patient needs and according to dentist’s orders.  

• →Prepares patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.  

• →Provides diagnostic information by taking all radiographs and quantity of radiographs deemed medically necessary by the clinical judgement of the treating dentist.  

• →Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments using four-handed dentistry.  

• →Maintain appropriate certifications and/or licensures.  

• →Perform all other duties as assigned by management.  

• High school diploma or equivalent  

• DANB X-Ray Certification  

• Knowledge of appropriate radiation techniques/procedures 

• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPA policies 

• Customer Service Experience – Friendly and helpful demeanor with patients and co-workers.  

• Flexibility – Must adapt easily to changing conditions and work responsibilities.  

• Ability to work well under stressful situations 

• Must be available to travel to other locations to meet operational needs 

Preferred, but not required: 

• Knowledge of electronic dental records and practice management systems, specifically Denticon.  
• Dental office experience 

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:40am - 3:00pm (no lunch), Tuesday and Thursday 7:40am-5pm 

Compensation: $19 - $21/hour with $500 sign on bonus
