Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Must be able to work in a pediatric, child friendly environment
- →Review all hygiene patient charts including; reason and necessity of visit, medical history, and x-ray requirement
- →Verify patient information with parent or guardian, according to HIPAA privacy standards
- →Have coronal polishing certification - We are able to provide a sealant course!
- →Verify the patient has consent for treatment from parent or guardian
- →Advise parent or guardian what to expect in the visit and address any concerns
- →Charting all existing/missing teeth, existing restorations, and/or dental procedures
- →Obtaining all x-rays necessary in the best quality possible
- →Maintaining accurate clinical notes of each visit
- →Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards. This includes; scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer
- →Must maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state
Requirements

- Current CPR Healthcare Provider Certification
- Polishing and Radiology Certification
