Key Responsibilities

Emergency repairs (including after hours and weekends). Install, troubleshoot, test, calibrate, electric and electronic instrumentation and equipment, many associated with large capacity chiller units, and process controls.

Requirements Summary

AAS Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent. (equivalent could be a JourneymanElectricians card for an approved apprenticeship). 5 years’ experience in electrical or electronic field.

The successful candidate will maintain, Troubleshoot, repair and install electrical equipment and controls, electronic instrumentation, as well as integrated network communication systems at the Citizens Thermal Chilled Water plant. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining electrical distribution equipment operating at voltages up to 5kv; as well as, DCS, PLC, computer control systems and calibration / testing of process instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Master Electrical License – from National Block exam.
  • ISA Certified Controls System Technician.
  • A+ Certification for computer hardware / software.
  • Universal Refrigerant Certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • NFPA 70E / OHSA safety training certification.
  • AutoCad experience.
