Responsibilities

You love what you do, now love where you do it.  The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct and indirect resident care under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN. Assists residents with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, comfort, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of residents.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
  • Certified Nursing Assistant training to obtain certification required
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is required. Positions in Labor & Delivery require a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Licenses and Certifications
  • CNA - State of California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
