ComPsych Management Corporation in Chicago, Illinois is looking for Software Engineers. Qualified candidates will be analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile methodology; Designing web-based applications using Java and J2EE technologies; Developing the GUI, Spring MVC and Entity framework; Developing prototypes and proofs of concept for proposed solutions; Participating in application demonstrations with users and enhancing user experience; Developing J2EE design patterns; Developing UML class diagrams and sequence diagrams; Enhancing the front-end of the application using Keycloak, SAML, LDAP, JAX-WS, SOAP, MyBatis, XML, JBOSS, JSF, RichFaces, SQL, Oracle and REST APIs; Creating and consuming Web Services, such as RESTful and SOAP; Developing and leveraging established component libraries (RichFaces and PrimeFaces); Implementing custom JSF composite components; Developing and implementing test validations of the applications using JUnit; Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to the applications to meet project specifications; Optimizing and performance tuning developed applications; Participating in the deployment of the applications into existing systems and databases using Maven and Jenkins; Maintaining version control using Git; and documenting modifications and enhancements made to the applications, systems and databases as required by the project.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Engineering and six months’ experience in position or six months’ experience in IT or Graduate Assistant field
Special requirements: Academic or Work Experience with Keycloak, SAML, LDAP, JAX-WS, SOAP, MyBatis, XML, JBOSS, JSF, RichFaces, SQL, Oracle and REST APIs. Telecommuting may be permitted within commuting distance of Chicago. Benefits include PTO, insurance and 401(K).
What We Offer
~1 min readSalary: $93,000 to $110,000/year Compensation will be determined in accordance with applicable local market rates and legal requirements. Where required by applicable law, salary range information will be provided to candidates during the recruitment process or upon request.
