Landscaper Crew Member

Kaiya Beach Resort is hiring a Landscape Crew Member / Foreman to maintain residential properties to a consistently high standard and, in the foreman role, lead a small crew day to day. This position reports to the Operations Manager.

• →Perform scheduled maintenance on client properties: mowing, edging, string trimming, blowing, and cleanup
• →Maintain planting beds — weeding, mulching, pruning, and seasonal color rotation
• →Check and perform basic repairs on irrigation systems; flag larger issues for follow-up
• →Operate and maintain commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, and trucks/trailers, including daily safety checks
• →Load, secure, and tow equipment safely between job sites
• →Follow site-specific checklists and instructions.
• →Communicate job status, property issues, and client requests clearly to the office

• Lead a 2–4 person crew: assign daily tasks and keep the route on schedule
• Quality-check completed properties before leaving the site
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for property managers and HOA boards
• Train new crew members on equipment, safety, and property standards

• Crew Member: 1+ year of commercial landscape maintenance experience
• Foreman: 2–3+ years of experience, including leading or training other crew members
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for towing equipment)
• Comfortable and safe operating commercial mowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, preferred for the Foreman role
• Pesticide/fertilizer applicator license a plus, or willingness to obtain one
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Florida heat and humidity for a full shift
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays during peak growing season
• Early start (typically 6:30–7:00 AM) 
• Uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk, stand, and sit 8-10 hours per day and may have exposure to basic cleaning supply chemicals.
• The team member is occasionally required to climb and use balance. Additionally, they will frequently be asked to use their hands and arms to reach, carry, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. 
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member will experience temperature fluctuations (rain, wind, heat, humidity), and moderate to high noise levels.
