What We Offer
~1 min read- Maintains clinical case load
- Provides counseling services for identified clients and their support network
- Performs comprehensive formal and functional assessments
- Implements, coordinates, monitor, documents, and evaluate measurable treatment goals
- Maintains required productivity
- Participates in clinical staffing for clients
- Interacts professionally with parents, school, medical personnel, and others stakeholders with professionalism and the highest levels of interpersonal and customer service skills
Requirements
~2 min read- Master’s degree required. Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or applicable discipline preferred
- LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT required
- A minimum of 1 year of social work or counseling experience. Experience working with children with challenging behaviors, developmental and/or emotional disabilities is desired
- Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
- Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
Essential Job FunctionsThe essential functions of this position require the physical ability and mobility needed to perform the job. This includes the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.; operate office equipment, including a computer keyboard; travel to other locations using private or commercial transportation; and communicate effectively to exchange information.
The position also requires the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to client behaviors, staff instructions, safety concerns, and emergencies in an environment where individuals may display aggressive, self-injurious, sexually maladaptive, elopement, or other unpredictable behaviors.
Regular and acceptable attendance, excluding approved absences and periods of leave, is also an essential function of the position.
