Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, develop, and enhance block storage systems and core architecture
- →Build high-performance systems software using C and/or C++
- →Work across storage environments and protocols including SAN/NAS
- →Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
- →Contribute to architectural decisions for core storage capabilities
- →Diagnose and solve complex storage issues at the systems level
- →Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver robust storage functionality for demanding production environments
- →Contribute to the evolution of modern storage platforms, including distributed block storage patterns where relevant
- 5 to 20 years of professional experience
- Strong hands-on experience in C and/or C++
- Good experience with SAN/NAS
- Clear depth in block storage architecture
- Current or recent experience in storage-focused engineering roles
- A strong systems mindset with comfort working on low-level, performance-sensitive components
- Experience with distributed block storage
- Background in enterprise storage, infrastructure software, or systems engineering
- Experience working on highly available, high-performance storage products
- You get to work on real storage engineering, not just application-facing abstractions
