DataDirect Networks (DDN) is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Sales Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead to build and scale best practices across our global Sales Engineering organization. This is a global role, the CoE will be responsible to create, scale and replicate key sales motions on DDN Go-To-Market Organization. You will drive standardization, enablement, technical content governance, sales methodologies, demo strategies, and operational excellence initiatives that improve productivity and customer engagement.

 

The ideal candidate combines technical pre-sales expertise with program management and cross-functional leadership skills to create scalable processes that support a high-performing Sales Engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the Sales Engineering Center of Excellence strategy and roadmap.
  • Create the Demo Excellence, RfX and Value Engineering Practices in DDN
  • Be responsible to scale the future DDN Executive Briefing Centers in North America and Europe
  • Standardize technical sales methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices globally.
  • Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Sales leadership to improve technical selling effectiveness.
  • Establish KPI frameworks and reporting to measure Sales Engineering effectiveness.
  • Lead technical enablement initiatives and onboarding programs for Sales Engineers.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of technical assets including presentations, demonstrations, battlecards, and competitive intelligence.
  • Coordinate global knowledge-sharing programs and communities of practice.
  • Support strategic initiatives related to AI infrastructure, high-performance storage, and data management solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Marketing, or related roles.
  • Experience leading similar global programs or operational initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, storage, AI, HPC, cloud, or data platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with CRM, knowledge management, and enablement platforms.
  • Experience in enterprise storage or AI infrastructure markets.
  • Experience building enablement or operational excellence programs.
  • MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
