Responsibilities

  • →Provide behavioral support supervision to RBT's & IA's working with elementary-aged students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities
  • →Provide consultation and training to classroom staff and other educators, administrators and families related to ABA
  • →Provide services and documents that are compliant with federal, state, and local reguations
  • →Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

DESS provides support to schools around early learning, academic interventions, safety practices and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges and communication needs. We use evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education population.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in education, psychology or related field required
  • Licensed Behavioir Specialist (LBS) in PA required
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing positive behavior support plans
