Embark at Springville is seeking Behavioral Health Associates (Mentor) to join our trauma‑informed residential program for adolescent girls (ages 12–17). In this role, you’ll provide direct support in a high‑acuity environment—helping clients regulate emotions, maintain safety, and engage in therapeutic routines. You’ll collaborate with therapists and nurses, model healthy boundaries, and be a steady presence for teens working through trauma, anxiety, depression, and family challenges.

• →Daily routines: Support students in following structured schedules and activities with encouragement and accountability.
• →Crisis intervention: Use verbal de‑escalation techniques to manage emotional or behavioral escalations; apply approved physical interventions (holds/restraints) when clinically necessary to ensure safety. 
• →Crisis prevention: Apply proactive strategies to reduce risk and provide crisis management when necessary.
• →Treatment alignment: Ensure student progress aligns with individualized treatment plans developed by therapists.
• →Positive modeling: Model constructive behaviors and attitudes, reinforcing a healthy environment for clients.
• →Documentation: Maintain consistent, thorough records of client interactions, incidents, and progress.
• →Team engagement: Participate in staff and house bonding activities to foster teamwork and community cohesion.
• →Housekeeping tasks: Perform light daily tasks to maintain a clean, organized living space.

• 21+ years of age or older
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Able to pass criminal investigation background check
• Current driver's license
• Ability to learn CPR and First-Aid.
