CCI Mechanical is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to serve as a trusted business partner and people leader. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping to shape our culture, develop talent, support employees, and drive HR strategies that contribute directly to business success. Working closely with leaders across the organization, you will help create a positive employee experience while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and enhance HR programs that support employees throughout their careers, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, talent management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and development.
- →Build and execute recruiting strategies that attract talented people who can contribute to our continued growth.
- →Develop a deep understanding of long-term, strategic needs of the organization, including partnering with Company leadership to provide insight into workforce needs to support the future plans of the organization.
- →Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing practical guidance on workplace matters, employee development, policies, and HR best practices.
- →Navigate complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, fairness, and discretion, including conducting timely and thorough workplace investigations.
- →Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations, including Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, and NLRA.
- →Manage and support a union workforce, including maintaining constructive labor relations, administering collective bargaining agreements, and partnering with leaders on union-related matters.
- →Identify and implement practical improvements that make HR processes, policies, and employee experiences more effective.
- →Build strong relationships with leadership and across the organization through a visible on-site presence that fosters trust, collaboration, and accessibility for employees and leaders.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- At least eight years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated success supporting a broad range of HR functions. Experience in the service, construction or related industry preferred.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws.
- Experience managing employee relations matters and conducting workplace investigations.
- Experience managing HR matters in a union environment, including labor relations and collective bargaining agreement administration.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with sound judgment and the ability to present recommendations persuasively and credibly.
- A collaborative style and the ability to earn trust and build effective relationships at every level of the organization.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, project management, and follow-through.
- Initiative and agility to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver timely results.
- Ability to analyze information, synthesize findings, recommend solutions, and engage appropriate stakeholders.
- Ability to balance company, customer, and employee needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft O365, HRIS, and payroll systems.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week.
