Intention Healthcare is a division of Essen providing physician house calls, and it is the largest provider of house calls in New York. We provide compassionate medical care and care management services to ensure that our over 40,000 disabled and otherwise homebound seniors can live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their homes.

Job Title: Quality Management Associate

 

Position Summary: The Quality Management Associate will support the quality department in monitoring, analyzing, and improving healthcare delivery processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, driving quality improvement initiatives, and promoting a culture of patient safety and excellence across the organization.

Reports To: Vice President, Clinical Excellence

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Hybrid (three days/week in the office)

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

 

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • →Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards,
  • →Conduct internal audits and quality reviews to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • → 

 

Data Collection & Analysis

  • →Collect, track, and analyze quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • →Identify trends, patterns, and areas requiring improvement
  • →Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders

 

Process Improvement

  • →Support quality improvement (QI) initiatives
  • →Apply industry-standard methodologies such as PDSA
  • →Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency

 

Documentation & Reporting

  • →Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records
  • →Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner

 

Patient Care Connections

  • →Support HEDIS measures evaluations by scheduling appropriate appointments
  • →Align with patients to aid in closing care gaps
  • →As part of Clinical Operations team, aid in covering phone lines as needed

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field required

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare quality, compliance, or a related role

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis with Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
