We have expanded beyond Tax and now also perform implementations for Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Unemployment Insurance, and Child Support Engagement agencies.

Qualified candidates will join our team at our headquarters in Centennial, CO. This role will be hybrid (3 days in-office) after in-office training.
Responsibilities
~2 min readAs a Payroll Administrator at FAST, you will play a critical role in managing payroll processes and ensuring accuracy and compliance across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- →Payroll Management:
- →Oversee the preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of domestic and international payrolls for employees across multiple jurisdictions.
- →Audit timesheets and expense claims.
- →Calculate and record payroll deductions and taxable benefits.
- →Auditing and Compliance:
- →Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and international regulations, as well as adherence to company policies.
- →Stay up to date on payroll legislation and labor laws, implementing changes to maintain compliance.
- →Reporting and Analysis:
- →Generate ad hoc and custom reports tailored to the needs of internal and external stakeholders, including leadership and auditors.
- →Complete state labor surveys and requests for verification of employment and income.
- →Collaborate with finance and HR teams to reconcile payroll data with accounting and financial records.
- →Employee Support and Communication:
- →Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to employees and management.
- →Educate employees on payroll policies, tax forms, and self-service tools to improve their understanding and engagement.
- →Documentation and Process Improvement:
- →Document payroll procedures in a clear and concise manner to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization.
- →Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- →Collaboration and Special Projects:
- →Partner with HR, IT, and Finance teams to support cross-functional projects and system implementations.
- →Contribute to organizational initiatives by providing payroll-related insights and participating in special projects as needed.
Requirements
~1 min read- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in Payroll, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Familiarity with ADP WorkforceNow, Lyric, or Celergo (preferred).
- FPC certification (strongly preferred).
- International payroll experience, including knowledge of tax treaties and foreign payroll systems (a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle confidential information professionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage stressful situations, and maintain a professional disposition.
- Ability to work in a team environment while responding effectively to management direction and feedback.
