Responsibilities

Review and analyze project cost control records to provide technical guidance and project controls support.

Manage cost control, change management, and budgeting processes.
- →
Track incurred costs, analyze budgets and commitments, and report variances.
- →
Monitor job cost reports against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- →
Calculate Estimate at Completion (EAC) per client methodology.
- →
Perform cost forecasting, cash flow analysis, and monitor contingency drawdown.

Track project changes and report on status.
- →
Oversee cost control reporting, reconcile project cost data, and manage unsecured revenue, contingencies, and over/under billing.
- →
Support project closeout by validating final revenue before billing submission.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance/accounting or business required.
- 10+ years of experience in cost and change control, including a minimum of 5 years leading the function on a major heavy civil construction / transportation infrastructure project
- Experience in complex cost and change control reporting, including EAC, EVM, cost variance analysis, change management, and forecasting.
- Able to identify cost reduction strategies in schedule, quantities or contract specifications that align with project budget and design specification requirements.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including construction accounting, required.
- Knowledge of construction contract agreements and change order processes required.
- Proven leadership and influential skills. Able to effectively work and communicate with all levels of the company.
