As a Grocery Clerk, your role stocking makes grocery shopping easy & enjoyable for guests.  You'll help keep shelves stocked, products fresh, and the store organized—ensuring guests can find what they need quickly and easily. Your attention to detail and friendly service help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and supported. As a Grocery Stocker at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:

To excel in the Grocery Clerk role, you'll bring:

• A helpful attitude and a commitment to excellent guest service.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with others.

• Awareness of safety requirements and policies policies, including proper lifting techniques and box cutter safety.

• Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, fork lift, walk-behind lifts, balers, and compactors (training provided).

• The associate must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; work in a cooler, walk in the store; bend, stoop and kneel regularly.
• The associate must have full range of upper body motion in order to lift product.  Requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time
• Must possess functional sensory abilities in order to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and to operate equipment.
• The position requires the associate to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.

 

The Grocery Clerk I is a part-time position. The work schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail grocery store environment.

Weekly Pay & Premium Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly, providing more frequent access to their funds. Part-time store associates are paid a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Hourly full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.

Two-Week Advanced Scheduling: Better Planning. Better Balance. We provide our associates with their schedules two weeks in advance, offering greater predictability & flexibility.
