Senior Support Specialist

Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, plus 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.

 

 

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Software Asset Management or related roles
• Experience with software license models and compliance management
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite, generative AI and data management tools
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize work according to business needs
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
• Prior experience in IT procurement processes
• Understanding of software publisher licensing agreements (e.g., Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware)

 

• →Track, manage, and reconcile software licenses, entitlements, subscriptions, and renewals to optimize utilization
• →Maintain accurate software inventory records in SAM tools (e.g., Maximo/Teams)
• →Support compliance audits and remediation activities to improve the organization's software compliance
• →Generate timely reports on software usage, compliance trends, and optimization opportunities
• →Manage software request processes and provide effective support to internal stakeholders
• →Assist with procurement activities, including vendor communications, quote requests, and creation of engineering instructions (EI) for purchase order processing
• →Collaborate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and program teams for efficient software lifecycle management
• →Facilitate stakeholder meetings and deliver presentations on SAM initiatives
