Requirements
~1 min readBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
- →Strong understanding of wireless communications systems, digital signal processing, RF theory, and communications theory
- →Strong understanding of modulation and demodulation techniques, PLLs, forward error correction techniques, BER testing
- →Previous experience with wireless protocols such as SGLS, CCSDS, DVB-S2 and other satellite TT&C waveforms (including ranging)
- →Familiarity with virtualization technologies/containerization (e.g. docker, podman) and software defined radios
- →Familiarity with commercial test equipment such as Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.
- →Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages
- →Proficiency with Linux operating system
- Ability to lead the software development process
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success
- Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
