Trouteaud Opticians in St Peter Port, Guernsey, is seeking a passionate Resident Optometrist to join our thriving, high-profile practice. Following a complete full-practice refit last year, we operate three daily clinics in a modern, beautifully designed clinical environment equipped with the most advanced diagnostic technology.

Every room is designed for maximum practitioner comfort, fully equipped with phoropter heads and supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic technology - including OCT and Optomap - allowing you to deliver the ultimate comprehensive eye examination. Behind the scenes, you will join a highly skilled, supportive practice team that seamlessly handles pre-screening, dispensing, and daily administration. This dedicated support ensures your day runs smoothly, leaving you free to focus entirely on delivering outstanding clinical care.

• An established GOC-registered Optometrist with high clinical confidence and extensive experience managing routine, complex, and specialised eyecare.
• A warm, patient-first clinician who combines exceptional clinical standards with a genuine passion for patient care.

• Candidates considering relocation from the UK mainland, Northern Ireland, or Republic of Ireland are strongly encouraged to apply.

• You must be registered with the GOC or appropriate governing body in order to apply for this role

• We have 3 consulting rooms
• We are a team of 10
• This role requires you to work alternate Saturdays (giving you regular long weekends to explore the Channel Islands or pop back to the mainland).
• Our appointment times are 1 hour
