    Provide safety oversight for work at heights, elevated platforms, confined spaces, and fall protection activities.

    Monitor proper use of harnesses and other required protective equipment.

    Serve as a liaison between project management and workers, communicating safety expectations clearly and professionally.

    Coach workers and address safety concerns using a calm, approachable, and solutions-focused communication style.

    Review work activities and assist with hazard assessments and corrective actions.

HazTek is seeking a Safety Professional to provide full-time, onsite safety oversight for a construction project in Wilmington, DE. This role requires strong field safety experience and a collaborative approach to working with project leadership and union trades.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience.

  • OSHA 510 required.

  • Experience overseeing fall protection, elevated work platforms, and confined space activities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with union workers and project leadership.

  • Ability to manage onsite safety concerns independently and professionally.
