Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Financial Controller - Asset Management with Hines, you will be responsibile for:

Ongoing bookkeeping and accounting in accordance with HGB
- →
Support in the preparation of interim and annual financial statements
- →
Processing of project-related payment transactions
- →
Execution of capital calls and loan drawdowns
- →
Participation in external annual audits and other audits
- →
Preparation of monthly VAT advance returns
- →
Support in the preparation of tax returns by the external tax advisor and the corresponding reviews

Support in reporting, as well as in budget monitoring and administration

Investor-specific ad hoc tasks for various stakeholders
Requirements
~1 min readMinimum Requirements include:
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in real estate or tax advisory - e.g. training as a tax clerk; alternatively, a completed degree in a relevant field
- Strong IT skills in all common MS Office products, especially Excel
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Analytical mindset and a strong affinity for numbers
- Structured approach, strong organizational skills, flexibility, and highly developed teamwork and communication skills
