2nd Shift Med Tech/Caregiver

• →Assisting clients with activities of daily living, specifically but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, etc.
• →Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts. Follow procedures regarding documenting of medications.
• →Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• →Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• →Reporting any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.
• →Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services, and coworkers of Homestead.
• →Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• →Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

The Caregiver will assist residents with activities of daily living and provide companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience working with the elderly.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid Driver’s license or ID.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.

This is a part-time position. Caregivers will be scheduled to work 8 hours shifts. Every other weekend is a requirement.

Hourly pay is $16.00 per hour with room for growth.
