Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Prepare specialty coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other menu items to brand standards
- →Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming experience for all customers
- →Take customer orders, answer questions, and process cash and credit transactions
- →Assist with food preparation, stocking, and inventory management
- →Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards throughout the café
- →Complete temperature logs, safety checks, and other required documentation
- →Support café marketing initiatives and promote products to drive sales
- →Train or guide team members as needed and ensure quality standards are met
- →Operate café equipment safely and efficiently
- →Restock supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels
- →Perform routine cleaning duties, including equipment, workstations, and service areas
Requirements
~1 min read- High school diploma or GED required.
- Barista certification for specialty beverage preparation must be obtained within six months of hire.
- Minimum of three months of customer service experience required; one to two years of retail, café, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Cash handling and basic math skills preferred.
- Experience operating a cash register and credit card processing system preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to provide clear information regarding food preparation, safety procedures, and cash handling practices.
- Demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and tact when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment when resolving customer concerns and providing service recovery when appropriate.
